We are looking for a motivated senior housing professional with a track record of delivering excellent services, who is passionate about working with residents and listening to their voice to deliver successful outcomes.   You will have experience of running a successful service, working at a senior level within your current organisation and have the skills to develop this business unit and increase new business for Sutton Housing Partnership.

We’re looking for a Property Portfolio Team Lead to join us.   
 

As a member of the Operations Management Team and of the Senior Strategic Leadership Team, you’ll lead a commercial unit and Property Management Team responsible for the management of a portfolio of properties, under a management agreement/s and business growth. Always ensuring your team delivers a first-class service consistently and in line with the management agreement and performance framework  
 

You’ll manage a team of property housing managers responsible for property management, tenancy management and  management of a portfolio of 536 properties owned by a registered provider, in line with SHP’s values, to ensure delivery of the highest level of customer service and resident satisfaction   

  

What we’re looking for:  

 

  • Educated to Degree Level   

  • Corporate Member of CIH, ARLA qualification or other relevant professional body  

  • Experience of operating at a senior level in a housing context, with a good understanding both private rented market and social housing.  

  • Housing sector experience and knowledge on all aspects of Case Management, Tenancy management, Anti-Social behaviour, Domestic Abuse  and Vulnerable Residents and Safeguarding.  

  • Excellent project management skills and proven track record of delivery  

  • Proven experience of the Private Rented Sector and Social Housing delivery model  

  • Experience of working in client / contractor regime with performance penalties  

  • High level of IT literacy and skills  

  • Highly developed relationship management or stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence, deal with difficult behaviours and conflict management.  

 

Due to the nature of the role, a full driving licence and car are required for mobile working. Please note there will be some evening and occasional weekend working required. 

Sutton Housing Partnership was set up in 2006 to manage council housing stock on behalf of Sutton Council.

We provide day-to-day housing management services to Sutton Council tenants and leaseholders.
